Hisar, June 25 (HS): Rail traffic on the Hisar-Jakhal stretch was affected on Sunday when a cement girder collapsed on the track between Hisar and Raipur, according to officials here. The girder was being put into place on an under-construction overbridge near Surya Nagar in this city when it fell into the railway track, according to the authorities. ?The crane used to raise the girder lost its balance after a section of the dirt beneath it shifted. The progress of certain trains on the route was hampered as a result of the event,? the officials added.
