Mohali: Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Phase 2 commemorated international youth day .At this moment a seminar was conducted where international changing needs in technology and management were discussed. Several events were organized like Declamation Competition, Inspirational Plays in which students participated with full fervor and zeal. The Faculty members also put their endeavors by delivering motivational speeches to the students. The message for the day was young people are crucial segment of a nation's development.
While speaking on this occasion, J S Bedi Chairman of Gian Jyoti Group said that only that country can progress, which aims at promoting ways to engage youth more actively involved in positive contributions to their communities and encourage youth around the world to organize activities to raise awareness about the situation of youth in their country and walk with the pace of time. He further added nevertheless India is progressing but actual progress is in the hands of youth as Youth are an important part of the society, without them our country would never be able to prosper the way it could as they are the backbone of a nation .They are the most productive and energetic. If their energies are not channeled they fail to captivate opportunities that come their way.
GJIMT Director Dr. Aneet Bedi motivated students to be positive as to make India super power it is essential for youth to come forward as great changes are coming in management and technology at word level and youth should be ready to compete with such changes and to serve their country.
