GKU Faculty Bags Top Position in Ramanujan Mathematics Zonal Level Competition

Talwandi Sabo, June 19, 2014: Faculty members of Guru Kashi University Talwandi Sabo, Prof. Neeraj Bansal and Prof.Sadhna Singh bagged top position in Zonal Level Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematical Competition 2013-14 held last year. Faculty members from various educational institutions of North Zone participated in this Mathematical Mahakumbh.
Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) conducts this competition every year in the field of Mathematics named after great Mathematician Ramanujan.
Prof. Neeraj Bansal and Prof. Sadhna Singh received certificates duly signed by President and Chairman Of ISTE, a Memento of 1st  prize winner and cheque of 3000 each by ISTE & SRMC.
Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director highly acclaimed this achievement and shared that such intelligent faculty should also motivate the students to excel in the field of education.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor Guru Kashi University, congratulated Neeraj and Sadhna for this great achievement and also impressed upon other faculty members and students to participate in such events to show their ability and skill.
On this occasion Satish Goswami, Registrar and Ashwani Sethi, Principal were also present.
