GKU organises NSS camp to mark Swacch Bharat Abhiyan

Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo on Wednesday organising NSS Camp to mark Swacch Bharat drive.

Talwandi Sabo, October 1, 2014: As the whole nation is working towards the Clean India Mission named Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Guru Kashi University organised NSS Camp to mark this Abhiyan. Dr N.S Malhi, Vice Chancellor Guru Kashi University inaugurated the camp along with Registrar, Satish Goswami, Dean Student Welfare, Dr D.R Godara, Programme Officers, other staff & students. The NSS volunteers cleaned playground, class rooms, labs & other water storage units.
The volunteers also cleaned the green belt of the main road outside the campus. Prof Kanwaljeet Singh Programme Officer, other staff members guided the volunteers during his cleanness campaign. The picture has totally been changed with the praise worthy efforts of staff & students.
Dr. D.R Godara told that this camp will cover all the features of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, during the next few days. Students and staff is feeling self motivated and energetic regarding this complain, he added.
Dr. N.S Malhi, Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of Dr. Godara & NSS programme officers who made possible to clean the campus in short span of time & spread awareness among the students via various lectures. This will also help to spread the message into the society upto great extent.  
Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director congratulated participants & organizers for this success of effectively participating in cleanliness campaign. Being having active participation in search great National Campaigns, We can contribute towards National Development & integration, he added.
