GKU Professor (Vegetables) selected by Asia Pacific Who’s Who

Dr.N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor congratulated Dr. Daljit Singh for this laurel and said he has done excellent job in the field of vegetable sciences. Apart from guiding the Research students his work towards the high yielding and high quality vegetables varieties is indeed commendable, he added.

Talwandi Sabo, October 14, 2014: Dr Daljit Singh an Internationally renowned Vegetables Scientist who has developed 7 vegetables varieties and standardised production technology of vegetables under Net House and is being adopted by the farmers of Punjab has been nominated active member of International Society of Horticulture Science (Vegetables Sector). Dr. Singh visited Argentina, U.K., Australia, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand and presented his scientific work.

This Asia Pacific Who’s Who, selects person who have scaled heights in their respective fields and who have played  a cogent  role in stimulating & sustaining the growth of Vegetable Science and other worthy reference of interest at local, regional, national & international  levels. His life time science work will be published in Asia Pacific Who’s Who vol. XIII, which will be everlasting document & will be distributed all around the world.

Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director stated that through this achievement Dr. Singh Added one more feather to his cap which will really help the students to excel in the field of research. He further stated that this is an honor not only for Guru Kashi University but also for the region.
