Students of GKU Talwandi Sabo perform at Saras Mela at Bathinda.
Bathinda, March 18, 2015: As lacs of people visited in the Saras Mela at Bathinda till the last days. Malwai people not only enjoyed the eatable across the country also interacted with the rich Indian culture and heritage.
On tha same lines students of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo performed Rajasthani Dance (Aayo Re Marho Dholna) and famous Punjabi dances Giddha and Bhangra. All the three dances of GKU students gathered huge crowd not only sitting on the chairs but also standing around the seating capacity.
Prof Sukhdevinder Singh Kaurra being coordinator compared whole programme during the performances. During this activity Prof. Resham Kaur, Prof. Kanwaljeet Singh, Prof. Shingara Singh, Prof. Harjinder Singh and Prof. Hardeep Singh helped the students.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University highly appreciated the performances of the students which effectively put light on the rich Indian Culture. He also emphasized the students and faculty to participate maximum in the Administration Initiatives, serving the society up to large extent.
