GLADA inaugurates New Sahayata Kendra to streamline NOC and regularization processes on Independence Day Eve

Ludhiana, August 14, 2024: On the eve of Independence Day, the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) proudly announces the inauguration of a new Special Help Desk and dedicated wing for processing Regularization Certificates commonly known as No Objection Certificate (NOC) for plots/buildings under various government regularization policies.
This new facility, named ‘Sahayata Kendra,’ was officially inaugurated today by Chief Administrator GLADA, Sandeep Rishi, alongside Additional Chief Administrator Ojasvi Alankar and Estate Officer (Regulatory) Ankur Mahindroo. The Sahayata Kendra will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on working days, providing multiple ‘help and enquiry’ counters staffed with Clerks and Assistants. These officials will assist the public in navigating the application process, tracking application status, and addressing any objections received. In case of any grievance, Superintendent (Regulatory) shall resolve the same who shall be stationed in the same wing. The facility is designed to enhance transparency and efficiency in handling NOC and regularization applications.

Key Features of the Sahayata Kendra:
•    Free Assistance: Public can receive help with applying for new applications on the Punjabregularization.in portal at no cost.
•    File Tracking: A streamlined mechanism is in place for tracking both old and new applications.
•    Expedited Services: The Help Desk will facilitate scheduling Junior Engineer (JE) visits and expedite reports from reporting authorities.
•    Upcoming Camps: Regular camps will be organized to dispose off pending applications. Schedule shall be issued soon.

Meanwhile, GLADA said it would like to caution the public against falling prey to agents, middlemen, or touts who falsely claim to be affiliated with GLADA. All services can be accessed online through the official portal or in person at the GLADA premises via the new Help Desk.

The Additional Chief Administrator of GLADA, Ojasvi Alankar, urges citizens to avoid engaging with unauthorized intermediaries. Those who encounter exploitation or fraudulent practices should report the matter to the police and inform GLADA immediately.

By dedicating this new facility on the eve of Independence Day, GLADA reaffirms its commitment to serving the public and upholding the values of transparency and efficiency in urban development.
