Glitz ‘N’ Glamour at ‘Razzle Dazzle’- A Pre-Diwali Bash

Jalandhar, October 30, 2021: Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar with the blessings of President, Apeejay Education, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia and under the stewardship of Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Nistandra organized a dazzling Pre-Diwali Bash ‘Razzle Dazzle’ which was full of glitz and glamour and was surrounded by the spirit of festivity.
The Chief Guest for the day was Ms. Parveen Abrol, Writer and Social Worker, Founder & President of Divya Drishti (an NGO). 
The programme commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest and Principal. Vice-Principal Ms. Aarti Shorey Bhat formally welcomed the Chief Guest, Parents and students to the Diwali Bash. Lavanya, a student of class V performed an Invocation Dance to seek blessings from Goddess Durga. The twinkling toes of the school performed a western welcome dance.
Many fun-filled competitions were organized for the students and Parents of classes Nursery to VIII which included Diya Decoration, Candle making, Toran Making, Tattoo Making, Lantern Making. Artificial Jewellery Designing and Fancy Dress. 
Little ones created a divine aura with their Role Plays as characters from Ramayana. Student-Parent duo added sparkle with their self-designed Artificial Jewellery Ramp Show. Students also fabricated magic with newspapers and sack as they displayed their creative dresses on stage.
The winners of all the competitions received Prizes from the Chief Guest and Principal. 
The other highlights of the program included an Online Short Play on Ramayana enacted by the students of classes I, II and III; Solo Song performances by Anshita Kashyap of class III and Robit Kuser of class XI Commerce; Solo Folk Dance (Punjabi) by Harshpreet Kaur of class VIII and Bhangra Group performance by the students of class XI.
Chief Guest Ms. Abrol in her address complimented and congratulated the students for their creative talent. She congratulated the Principal and her team for putting up an excellent show. She mentioned Ex- President of the nation Dr. Abdul Kalam who believed that a nation’s future is visible in Schools and Ms. Abrol complimented the school for upholding the values and felt that she could see Dr. Kalam’s words being put into action at APJRMD. She thanked the Management and Principal for having invited her to witness the magical occasion. She requested all to follow the golden rule of Teacher-Student equation as set by Guru Dronacharya and Eklavya. She also prayed to the Almighty for the progress of the School by leaps and bounds.
Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra in her Thanks Speech thanked Ms. Abrol for enlightening the day with her gracious presence. She thanked all the Parents, students and her strong team of the school that include Teaching, Admin and Ushering Staff for their persistent efforts in making the event a success.
