Online global citizen activity conducted for students in DIPS Kapurthala
Jalandhar: Online global citizen activity was conducted for students in DIPS Kapurthala to create awareness among them to become global citizens. All the classes from first to twelve except eleventh class were classified in various nations like India, Canada, Japan, Australia, German, Pakistan, Nepal, France, China, Egypt and America respectively.
The students shared the characteristics of the nations allotted to them with their classmates by collecting information of social life like dress, cousine, historical monuments, bazaars language and represented in form of online video, ppt, speech, poems and making charts.
According to the principal Jaswinder Singh the chief aim behind organizing this symposium was to apprehend the students with the civilization, culture and heritage of foreign nations. Through this activity students related and connected themselves with the unique characteristics of the world.
The teachers also participated in it with great zeal by acquainting the students with the whole world through PPT and videos.
MD of DIPS chain of institutions Mr Tarwinder singh applauded the efforts made by school laying the stress on importance of such activities to explore themselves globally. CAO Mr Ramneek Singh and Jashan Singh also explained and supported the dire need of Global education explaining that students must dive in vast ocean of knowledge to keep themselves updated with latest technology in the world.
The CEO Ms Monica Mandotra also appreciated and motivated the principal and teachers to perform such kind of online activities in future also to explore and effectuate inquisitiveness of students.
