Global Kabaddi League- Delhi Tigers beat Maple Leaf Canada by 55-47

California eagles beat Haryana Lions by 63-43

Ludhiana: Due to the Fine performance of Raiders and Stoppers of Delhi Tigers register their third win in a row in Global Kabaddi League by beating Maple Leaf Canada by 55-47 at Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana’s Astroturf Hockey Stadium here on Friday evening. Earlier Delhi Tigers beat Haryana Lions and Black Panthers at Ludhiana. With today’s win, Delhi bagged nine points from 7 matches Where as Maple Leaf lost fourth match in the league.

In the other match California Eagles showed supremacy by beating Haryana Lions by 63-43. With this win California remains on the top with 18 points from 7 outings with 6 wins and one defeat. Where as Haryana Lions on fourth position with 9 points from 7 outings with 3 wins and 4 defeats.

Today again Delhi Tigers displayed good game and controlled the proceeding from start. At the end of first quarter Delhi was leading by 13-11. At the end of second quarter Delhi was leading by 28-22. In the third quarter Canada boys tried their best to bring their team back in game but not able to do so. At the end of stipulated time score was 55-47 in favour of Delhi Tigers. For Delhi their star raider Gurlal Khanur earned 11, Captain parneek and Sukha 10 each. For Canada’s Gurlal earned maximum 14 points with their raids.

In the second match California Eagles gave not any chance to Haryana boys. At half time California Eagles was leading by 31-23. at the end of full time score was 63-43 in favour of California Eagles. For California Navjot Shankar score 14 and Taja 11. For Haryana Ravi Deora scored 10.
