GNA University organised Abhikalp- Design Aptitude Test
More than 250 students participated in the event from the different schools
Jalandhar: GNA University organized GU-DAT (GNA University- Design Aptitude Test) Abhikalp in a virtual mode with the sole objective to search and appreciate new emerging talent in the form of creativity and innovation in the field of design.
More than 250 students participated in the event from the different schools. The students showcased their hidden talent and creativity in the field of design through the mode of sketches.
The University congratulated and acknowledged the participation of the students-
The first winner of GU-DAT was Ms. Anmol, Saraswati DAV Senior Secondary School Amritsar, who bagged the cash award of Rs 5100, the first runner Ms. Rajwinder Kaur from Lyallpur Khasla Collegiate Sr. Sec. School Jalandhar, who won Rs 3100 and the second runner Mr. Amandeep from DCM International School Ferozpur was honoured with Rs 2100 as the cash award.
S. Gurdeep Singh, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University expressed, “I am really elated to witness the huge participation of the students even during the unprecedented times. I appreciate the efforts of the students and their zeal in showcasing their creativity in the field of design.”
Mr. C.R. Tripathy Dean Faculty of Engineering Design and Automation remarked, “GNA University is always striving for excellence and will always offer his best in producing future company designers. The University is always on its toes to render the best to the community and unleash the hidden acumen of the deserving students.”
During the event Vice-Chancellor GNA University Dr. V. K. Ratan and Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics was also present and appreciated the student’s talent and deigning skills.
