GNA University organised “Anti-Drugs Cycle Rally”

The NSS wing of GNA University in collaboration with District Administration & Fit Bikers club Hoshiarpur organised an "Anti-Drugs Cycle Rally" at Hoshiarpur City on the day of “Shaheed Diwas” total. The main motto of this Cycle Rally was to spread awareness for people to abolish the evil called Drug.

Jalandhar, March 23, 2023: The NSS wing of GNA University in collaboration with District Administration & Fit Bikers club Hoshiarpur organised an "Anti-Drugs Cycle Rally" at Hoshiarpur City on the day of “Shaheed Diwas” total. The main motto of this Cycle Rally was to spread awareness for people to abolish the evil called Drug. 

The event started with a warm up session with some patriotic songs as a tribute to the martyrs of India. The participants seem excited to hit the paddle of their respective cycles. The Rally initiated by the flag off ceremony by DSP (city) Palwinder Singh, Harbhagwant Singh District Education Officer, Director Sachdeva stocks Ranvir Sachdeva, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr.Hemant Sharma, Dupty Registrar Kunal Bains- GNA University, Munir, Balraj Singh Chauhan, and  Er. Gurmeet Singh (PRO GNA University).

In this Rally, around 380+ participants participated and paddled up the event with one motto to "Youth Against Drugs". The participants in the campaign were schools, colleges and youth of India, fitness freaks, cyclists and many more who cycled all over the city. This rally covered 15 Km of the Hoshiarpur city and also covered 25 major spots.  During the event the cyclists raised the slogans as well spread the awareness for one an all who are dealing with the problem of drugs' and its causes. 


The campaign was a grand success as the message reached out to the people who are dealing with the problem of drugs. On the success of the Campaign the Pro-Chancellor Gurdeep Singh Sihra said, “Let’s take an oath to make Punjab drug free and promise that our state is going to touch the newer heights of improvement.”


Dr. Hemant Sharma, the Pro Vice-Chancellor appreciated the huge gathering of people of all the age group and said, “I am beholden to all the martyrs, who had given their lives to make India better.”
