GNA University organised medical camp for police officers
There were almost 30 officers present at the time of the Campaign
Jalandhar, August 23, 2021: GNA University organized a Medical Camp for the Police officers over long duty hours in Rawalpindi Police Station. The objective of the Campaign was staying fit and healthy. The main resource person for the camp was Dr. Anna (PT) Specialized in Orthopaedic field at GNA University.
There were almost 30 officers present at the time of the Campaign. The Chief Guest for the Camp SHO.Jaipal (On duty officer) he inaugurated the event with the support of GNA University Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Physiotherapy & MLT Department. In this event a brief description about Posture, Ergonomics and correction of daily living activities, guidance about Dietary intake or correct time and ways of water intake was described by the resource person- Dr. Anna (PT) Specialized in Orthopaedic field and helped out with Dr. Pallavi (PT) to the compilation of the event.
The regular blood tests were done by the MLT Department under the able guidance of Dr. Steffy, Assistant Professor at GNA University. The event was successfully completed with the distribution of water bottles, hand towels, sanitizers and face masks by GNA group for their protection as a souvenir.
Gurdeep Singh, the Pro-Chancellor appreciated the hard endeavours of the faculty for taking special care of the right postures and guiding for the apt way of healthy living.
Dr. Monika Hanspa, Dean Academics expressed, “I am happy to notice the painstaking task executed at the end of the department.”
All the police officers of Rawalpindi felt extremely obliged on getting this privilege from GNA University and thanked the GNA Group wholeheartedly.
