GNA University organised Mega Tech Fest “Tech-o-Tsaav”

Jalandhar, April 23, 2022: GNA University organized Tech-o-Tsaav- an Inter College/University mega event. Rajni Bector founder and chairman of Emeritus, Mrs Bectors Food Specialties Ltd was the chief guest for inaugural session. 

The occasion commenced with the Inaugural Address of the Dean Academics, Dr. Monika Hanspal. The event was graced by Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University, Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice- Chancellor, GNA University, Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Dean Faculty of Engineering Design and Automation, Dr. Anurag Sharma, Head, Computer Science and Engineering and Dr. Hitesh Marwaha, Head, Faculty of Computational Science and other dignitaries of the University.

More than 30 Colleges /Universities from northern region participated in the event and more than 1100 students participated in various competitions like Tech Talk, Junk War, IT Ripplets, Showcase, Spin-a-web, Rang-Tarang, Bug Smash Code, Net War, Designify, Code-Golf, Maquilage, Khoj, make some noise and Chakk Dhoom Dhoom.

The Valedictory ceremony was held in the benign presence of guets of honour Dr. Ajay Bansal, Registrar Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar. DAVIET Jalandhar lifted the overall trophy and a Cash prize of Rs. 11000/- and CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur bagged the runner up trophy and a cash prize of 5100/-.  Participation certificates were given to all the participants. 

Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Pro-Chancellor GNA University congratulated all the winners and participating students. He said that “I am really elated to witness the huge participation of the students from various institutes”.

Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor remarked, “GNA University is always striving for excellence and will always offer its best in terms of various activities held at National level.”

Dr. RK Mahajhan, the Registrar GNA University thanked the participants and guests and said, “The University is always on its toes to render the best to the community and unleash the hidden acumen of the deserving students.”

Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics congratulated the entire Team for outing up the best in all the events and motivated everyone for further events.
