GNA University organised short term course on “Effective Writing Skills Using LaTex”
The expert covered in detail various applications of using LaTex over other word processing software
Jalandhar, December 13, 2021: GNA University organized three Days Short term Course on “Effective Writing Skills Using LaTex”. Dr. Harjot Kaur, Associate Professor, GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur was the resource person for this short term course. The key objective behind the short term course was to strengthen the students of undergraduate and post-graduate about the features of LaTex-A Document Preparation System for high quality typesetting.
The expert covered in detail various applications of using LaTex over other word processing software. LaTex encourages authors not to worry too much about the appearance of their documents but to concentrate on getting the right content. This was an informative session for the postgraduate students. The students also showed their involvement by doing hands on practice and clarifying their doubts from the Expert.
Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Dean (Engineering) said, “Effective writing is a part and parcel for good communication and is the need of an hour and GNA university always organizes such courses for enhancing the skills of the students.”
