GNA University signs MoU with Indian Red Cross
The Signing ceremony was witnessed by the staff and faculty of GNA University along with the representatives of Indian Red Cross
Jalandhar: GNA University is always striving hard for human excellence and keeps making sincere endeavours in doing service for the humanity at a larger extent. The University signed an MOU with Indian Red Cross keeping in view the clear cut objective of creating social awareness and making the youth of India a better human being and a global citizen. The MOU was duly signed between the Vice-Chancellor of GNA University, Dr. VK Rattan and the Vice-Chairman of Indian Red Cross, Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna.
The Signing ceremony was witnessed by the staff and faculty of GNA University along with the representatives of Indian Red Cross- Mr. CS Talwar, Retd. IAS, Secretary Punjab, Mr. NK Singh, Deputy Secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Delhi, Mr. Amarjeet Singh, Field Officer, Punjab State Red Cross and Mr.SP Dhawan, Bank Manager and Guest for the event.
Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna, the Vice-Chairman of Indian Red Cross expressed, “I am extremely elated to sign this MOU with the University that believes in producing Human excellence. I assuredly trust that this MOU will render galore opportunities not only to the students but also to the faculty of GNA University.”
Mr. NK Singh, Deputy Secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Delhi said, “The signing up with Indian Red Cross is a celebration in itself. IRC will not only usher theoretical but also practical exposure to the youth.” He even said, “We stand for each other and we stand doubly blessed in every aspect.”
Dr. VK Rattan and the Vice- Chancellor GNA University said, “Today we stand beholden that students will learn much globally and faculty at GNA University will become the first aid trainers at a global level.”
S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University expressed, “I thank the National Vice-Chairman for considering our University for signing up with Indian Red Cross.” He even said, “The very thought of working and dedicating our energy for the cause of social service is an asset for our youth which will make them think ahead of times.”
The event was finally culminated on the mellifluous note of the Indian Red Cross Anthem and everyone present felt grateful for being the significant part of this MOU.
