GNA University takes privilege of celebrating International Women’s Day
GNA University took the privilege of celebrating the International Women’s Day with a clear objective of making the women of the University feel re-ignited, re-enlightened and re-emerged. The university considers its every female highly motivated and dedicated, but this occasion was especially celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm to make them feel special and get the spark super-charged in them.
Jalandhar, March 11, 2023: GNA University took the privilege of celebrating the International Women’s Day with a clear objective of making the women of the University feel re-ignited, re-enlightened and re-emerged. The university considers its every female highly motivated and dedicated, but this occasion was especially celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm to make them feel special and get the spark super-charged in them.
The event was enthusiastically co-ordinated by Dr. Disha Khanna, the Dean Faculty of Liberal Arts as the Master of the ceremony. Jasleen Seehra, the Nutrition Enthusiast was the Chief Guest of the event. Simran Seehra, the Patisseri Expert, Dr. Sushma Chawla, the senior gynaecologist at Chawla Nursing Home, Gurjot Kaur, the Director Ajit Group & Trustee Nari Niketan; Archie Sehgal, the Director Corporate Achiever’s The Cynosure, Tarveen Kaur, Life Coach, Reiki Healer, Motivational Speaker; Dr. J.Jyoti, the Dietician cum Nutritionist, Kritika Sehgal, the Water Colour Artist graced the occasion during the expert talk on the stage.
The expert session was moderated by Kamini Verma, Assistant Professor in Faculty of Liberal Arts. The entire session was power packed by the valuable inputs that were given in lieu of the volley of questions and concerns raised at the end of the female staff and the students.
All the dignitaries acknowledged the University for holding such an enlightening event which was all the more charmed by the Nukkad Natak carrying a message of Women Empowerment especially scripted by Rajni, the Assistant Professor in Faculty of Hospitality.
The event was also enthralled with the mesmerising performance of a classical dance and an African student singing in Hindi that showcased that ‘Nothing is impossible in life if you have the zeal to learn and acquire something in life.”
Jasleen Seehra, the Chief Guest of the event expressed, “I am really delighted to witness the gem of powerful women to share the stage together on the auspicious occasion of Women’s Day.”
Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics said, “I am happy to witness all the statures of multiple repute at the sprawling campus of GNA University.”
