Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Women's University, Khanpur Kalan, Prof. Sudesh said this. VC Prof Sudesh was addressing the induction program organized for the newly admitted students to the PhD courses in various teaching departments of the University.
VC Prof. Sudesh inspired the girl students to work hard. She congratulated the students on taking admission in the prestigious women's university established in the name of great educationist Bhagat Phool Singh. In her impressive address, VC Prof Sudesh said that this university is determined to achieve its goals set for women's education and empowerment. The Vice Chancellor called upon the girl students to set goals in life and achieve them with hard work, enthusiasm and passion. She inspired the girl students to be disciplined, strive hard, move forward with life values and contribute to society and nation building.
She advised students to pay special attention to developing communication skills, linguistic skills, soft skills and life skills. VC Prof. Sudesh said that good research plays a crucial part in improving the national and international ranking of the university. She gave instructions to organize induction programs regularly and asked research scholars to take maximum advantage of these programs and increase their research skills. She also advised the students to use the library as much as possible.
At the beginning of the program, Dean, Academic Affairs, Prof. Sanket Vij welcomed the newly admitted students and informed them about the infrastructure and facilities available in the university. Dean, Research, Prof. Vijay Nehra conducted the program. Deans of various faculties, heads of departments and departmental PhD coordinators were present on this occasion.
