Ludhiana, December 28, 2024: Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana organised a heartfelt farewell party to bid adieu to Amarpal Kaur, a Restorer who tirelessly worked for this college for 35 years. 

Ranjodh Singh,  President, Ramgarhia Educational Council,  Officiating Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur accompanied by Prof. Tajinder Kaur, Prof. Tarvinder Kaur gave a floral welcome to Amarpal Kaur, her husband Jaswinder Singh Rupal( a Punjabi Writer and a retired Science Teacher) Son and Daughter-in-law Baltej Singh Rupal and Jaspreet Kaur Rupal, younger son Iqbal Singh and to her extended family.  The faculty of PG. Dept. of Music gave a melodious performance. 

Ranjodh Singh congratulated Amarpal for her successful journey and acknowledged her contribution for the college. He said that she has always performed her duties very diligently. This institution will always be grateful for her dedication and selfless love. 

Principal Dr.Ajit Kaur, while walking down the memory lane recalled how cheerful face of Amarpal could be seen when one entered the library. She not only gave a new life to the library but also encouraged students to spend more and more time with books. 

Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary,  Ramgarhia Educational Council also conveyed his best wishes to Kaur. 

Amarpal Kaur with smile and tears recalled her cherished experiences and expressed her gratitude for the institution,  Management and Staff Members. She said that indeed she feels honored to be a part of this institution. She also acknowledged the unwavering support of her family through out these years. All the faculty members presented their token of love to her. At the end of the day, Staff Secretary Prof. Tajinder Kaur gave her best wishes and a vote of thanks and concluded the day by saying that this institution will always remember her for the person she is and for the difference she made.
