Ludhiana, January 28, 2025: DMC&H is proud to announce that Dr. Ashima Taneja, Professor & Head Department of Obst. & Gyane has been felicitated with the prestigious State Award on 76th Republic Day celebration for her exceptional contribution to women’s healthcare in Punjab.
The award was presented by Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab. He congratulated Dr. Ashima Taneja and acknowledged her leadership, innovation and commitment to improve the health & well being of women.
The event was graced by DGP Gaurav Yadav, Jitendra Jorwal (DC Ludhiana) and others.
Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, Bipin Gupta and Treasurer, Mukesh Verma congratulated Dr. Ashima on her achievement and highlighted that they are proud of her dedication and hard work as this recognition reflects institution commitment to serve the community.
Principal, Dr. G.S. Wander expressed his pride and complimented that such achievement brings pride to our institution and sets a remarkable example for others to follow. Her achievement and passion highlights the value of excellence said Dr. Wander.
