“Graduation is not the end; it is the beginning”
Harvest International School Ludhiana celebrated the ‘Graduation Day Ceremony’ on May 10 in the school auditorium, for students from PP1 graduating to PP2 and the A Level Students from the batch of 2021-2022.
Ludhiana, May 12, 2022: Graduation Day is not just the cessation of school life, but the commencement of life outside the safe refuge of school. The day is a plethora of emotions for students, teachers and families alike. It is a time of celebration, reminiscence and reflections, as the future unfurls with a myriad of promises.
Harvest International School Ludhiana celebrated the ‘Graduation Day Ceremony’ on May 10 in the school auditorium, for students from PP1 graduating to PP2 and the A Level Students from the batch of 2021-2022.
The dignitaries Director Col. Jaisheel Kaushal (Retd), Principal Jay Sharma and Vice Principal Puja Chandpuri commenced the ceremony by lighting the lamp.
The customary student pledge was followed by the distribution of graduate certificates by the dignitaries, first to the young Harvestians from PP1 followed by the A Level batch of outgoing students in graduation gowns and caps, along with the felicitation and unique titles describing their strengths.
After the distribution of certificates, the Principal Jay Sharma welcomed everyone and spoke on the achievements of the students and the laurels that they had brought to the Institution. He emphasized on the importance of schooling and the values to carry forward in life.
The Director Col. Jaisheel Kaushal (Retd.) took the opportunity to encourage the students to’ Dream Big and Achieve’ and never to accept defeat. He also stressed for students to equip themselves with adequate skills and knowledge to face the challenges in life.
The most awaited aspect of the day was the ‘Candle Lighting,’ a symbol of ‘Passing the light of Knowledge’ to all the graduating students, as they received the light of knowledge from the dignitaries and the teachers. This moment added glamour which was accompanied by a sense of achievement.
Graduation Day Ceremony culminated with a ‘Photo Session’ for the graduates whose joy knew no bounds. This was indeed a momentous occasion which will be perpetually etched in their memories.
