Zirakpur, October 4, 2018: In order to give respect to elders of Society --mainly grandparents; Bachpan Play School here, celebrated grand parents day. It was a fun filled day which saw grandpas & grannies taking part in various games. A dance competition was also held in which the grandparents danced on foot tapping Punjabi beats, along-with their grandchildren.
Despite their age, grandparents took great interest in the activities. Many shared views about their grandchildren & talked about their childhood memories.
"We hold this event every year to honour Grandparents. The idea is to provide them an entertaining time with their grandchildren. This way family bonding too gets strengthened." Said Mukta Sharma, Director, Bachpan Play School, Zirakpur
