On the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami, Griffins International School, Kharagpur not only celebrated 74th Republic Day but also Saraswati Puja in its campus.
To mark the special day, the Chairman Abishek Kumar Yadav unfurled the National Flag. Soon after, some truly patriotic songs and dance performances were organised that raised the patriotic fervour among the viewers. However, the highlight of the day was the performance of the hostel students who put up a stellar show under the guidance of the Sports Department.
On this special occasion, the Principal Renu Aneja enlightened the students on the significance of the day and emphasised upon the importance of the Constitution of the country.
During his speech, the Chairman Abishek Kumar Yadav encouraged the students to not only be aware of their rights but also be conscious about the duties as enshrined in the Constitution. He expressed his great faith on the present generation who, through their right knowledge, will take the nation forward.
The Republic Day celebration was followed by Saraswati Puja where everyone offered Pushpanjali - floral offerings to Devi Saraswati- and enjoyed the sumptuous Bhog soon after.
