Jalandhar, November 15, 2022: A guest lecture was organized in DMCH College campus on “Clinical Cases in Rheumatology and Bone Disease” by Prof Stuart Raiston, Consultant Rheumatologist, Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, UK.
This lecture was organized for MBBS students 2nd Prof, Final Prof Part I, Part II & Interns.
DR Sandeep Puri, Principal, DMCH welcomed the guest speaker and thanked him for giving his valuable time to DMCH & Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Dean, DMCH introduced him to the students.
Prof Raiston talked about various clinical cases related to Rheumatology and discussed with the students in patients certain symptoms can take years to mature into health issues. He also discussed certain procedures and drugs used for the treatment of joint ailments. To make the session interactive, he quizzed the students on the various diagnosis while discussing various patient symptoms.
Concluding remarks were added by Dr Rajnish Grag, Head, Dept of Orthopedics and Dr Dinesh Gupta, Head, Dept of Medicine thanked the guest.
The session included a quiz and interactive discussion with students.
