Gurpurab celebrated at Govind Godham

Acting upon the call given by Thakur Dalip Singh Ji, mandir committee announces to celebrate Gurpurab every year at Godham
Ludhiana, November 27, 2018: In response to the appeal by Thakur Dalip Singh Ji, Head of the Namdhari sect, to celebrate Guru Nanak Dev ji's 550th Parkash Utsav at Hindu temples also, gurpurab was celebrated with great religious enthusiasm by Shree Radha Govind Mandir Committee at Shree Govind Godham, on the Hambran road. Jathedar Gurdeep Singh recited shabad whereas Suba Amrik Singh thanked the committee members for the celebrations. He said this has set an example of Hindu-Sikh unity for which Thakur Dalip Singh is preaching at all religious stages. Chairperson of the committee Sunder Dass Dhamija welcomed the Namdhari sangat whereas Ms Udesh Sood announced that birth anniversaries of Sikh Gurus will be celebrated at Godham every year in future. Harbhajan Singh, Palwinder Kukki, Nirmal Singh, Gurdit Singh, Arwinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh Bagga were also present on the occasion.
