Ludhiana, November 19, 2021: Invoking the memoir of eternal majesty of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji who lived in this earthly world to show humanity the path of virtuous life, and gave his simple and vibrant principles of life.
DCM Presidency School, Elementary Campus celebrated Gurupurab with great ardency to mark the Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 19th November 2021
A serene and calm atmosphere was created by the soothing 'Shabad', sung by the budding singers. The students of Nursery to prep-II took out 'Prabhat Pheri' to emphasise the importance of Gurupurab and assembled in the Montessori center. Where the programme started with recital of mool mantra ‘Ek Omkar’ followed by a vocal melodious Shabad Kirtan under the patronage of holy book Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
A documentary movie, related to the historical background of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was shown to students.
School Coordinators Ekta Singhania and Sonal Arora advised the students to follow the principles of the holy Guru and cultivate values of humanity.
Head of the school, Reuben Chahal wished a happy Gurupurab to all. She also appreciated the efforts put in by the children and teachers and gave the message of universal brotherhood.
The students pay respect to the great Guru by distributing ‘Kadah Prasad’.
