Ludhiana, February 28, 2024: Guru Hargobind Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana, buzzed with enthusiasm as it celebrated National Science Day in honour of the revered Indian scientist CV Raman's birth anniversary.
In a ground breaking move, students from the science departments curated an impressive exhibition, featuring around two dozen models that showcased scientific inventions relevant to human life.
College Principal Prof. Inderjit Singh emphasized the significance of this inaugural exhibition in fostering students' awareness of scientific subjects. The collaborative effort, led by dedicated college teachers, proved successful, prompting plans for similar initiatives in the future. It is worth mentioning that the college students took charge of the entire exhibition under the guidance of their professors.
Prof. Jasbinder Kaur, Prof. Praveen Ansari, and Prof. Manmeet Kaur served as judges, witnessing outstanding performances from teams Lakshpreet Kaur and Rajan who secured the first & second places of Department of Biology & B.Voc. MLT respectively. Certificates were awarded to all participants, and winning students received well-deserved medals.
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Rajan Kapoor, Prof. Mamta, and other distinguished guests.
