Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan Management Committee in its quarterly meeting honoring Rahul Tiwari, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana for the excellent performance of Ludhiana district under his leadership.

Ludhiana, February 1, 2013: Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan Management Committee in its quarterly meeting has honored Rahul Tiwari, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana for the excellent performance of Ludhiana district under his leadership.

Tiwari had been for bestowed National Award by Election Commission of India for the excellent election arrangements in the district during the last Vidhan Sabha elections under his supervision.

The Deputy Commissioner was also selected from Punjab for presentation and sharing experience at National Conference at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi for remarkable work done in Revenue Administration and curbing female feticide in the district.

Finance Secretary of Guru Nanak Bhawan Trust Darshan Singh Shankar said the Management Committee expressed special gratitude to Tiwari for his farsightedness in bringing out the Guru Nanak Bhawan Trust from the financial constraints and making itself reliant. He said that  Deputy Commissioner has also made appreciable efforts to give shape to another Small Auditorium  cost of  Rs. 1.20 crores for 250 seating capacity in Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan Complex, which was extremely needed for the organization of small functions in the city.

Prominent among others whowere present on this occasion included Rishipal ADC(D),KPS Mahi SDM West, Surinder Singh, General Secretary, Sanjeev Jain, Chartered Accountant, Avtar Singh Bhogal, Charanjit Singh Vishawkarma, PPS Grewal and DL Sharma.

Tiwari expressing his thanks said that it was all with the cooperation of his team of officers and the people of the district.
