Halloween Party organized at PCTE Campus

Ludhiana, November 8, 2018: PCTE’s Events on Air club organized a fantastic Halloween Party at the campus where students turned up in creative costumes, got their faces painted and tested their nerves in the Tunnel of Horror. During the party, students danced and dressed like zombies to scare each other. A large number of individuals attended the party and students had a fantastic time this year celebrating Halloween.

The tradition of Halloween started in the European countries during ancient times when the last evening of summer was celebrated as the day when people lit fires and dressed as ghosts believing that this would ward off evil spirits.

The party was organized for a toast of good cheer to all the winners of Koshish-An Intra college annual fest, Thomso 2018- An annual fest of IIT Roorkee and Academic achievers in various streams. After all the hard work, this party made students to celebrate their success and achievements.

“It was wonderful experience organizing the party. It feels good when you receive an over whelming response from the students and when your mentors acknowledge your efforts” said Mr. Rajat Thapar, Student and one of the organizers of the party. He further thanked his teachers and the organizing committee for their support extended. This will motivate me to even do better next time, he further added.

Dr. KNS Kang, Director General applauded the efforts of the organizers and said that the event was a huge success which had participation from the entire college. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves throughout the duration of the party.
