Jalandhar, February 7, 2013: On February 5 in the evening hours, two Pakistani nationals namely Mohd Tariq, 14, son of Mohd Mallik and Naved, 15, son of Mohd Rafiq both resident of District Sheikhupura, Pakistan were apprehended by alert BSF troops of BOP Rattan Khurd at about 5-30 PM. Both were visiting their relatives living in Harbasanpura village, Lahore, Pakistan and had come to pay obeisance at the mazar of Peer Baba situated along International Border in the area of Border Out Post (BOP) Rattan Khurd in Sector Amritsar and inadvertently crossed the IB as they were not aware of the alignment of International Boundary.
According to an official release, the apprehended persons are being handed over to Pak Rangers being inadvertent border crossers as a goodwill gesture.
Apprehended two Pak Nationals handed over to Pak Rangers through JCP Attari.
