“Hansali Run 24” witnessed 2000 runners at Shri Guru Hargobind Singh Stadium

With the support of Sant Baba Paramjit Singh, Hansali Sahib Trust, India Run Festival, JITO, and Nargis Dutt Foundation, the “Hansali Run 2024” was organised at Hansali Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib.

“Hansali Run 24” witnessed 2000 runners at Shri Guru Hargobind Singh Stadium

Fatehgarh Sahib, November 15, 2024: With the support of Sant Baba Paramjit Singh, Hansali Sahib Trust, India Run Festival, JITO, and Nargis Dutt Foundation, the “Hansali Run 2024” was organised at Hansali Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib.

People of all ages and from various cities participated in this event. Promoter of the India Run Festival, Deepinder Shergill, shared that the marathon was held in celebration of Guru Nanak Dev’s Prakash Purab and in memory of Sant Baba Ajit Singh Hansali Wale. 
The flag-off ceremony was conducted with blessings from Sant Baba Paramjit Singh Hansali Sahib and Mohanbir Singh Shergill, Chairman of Paragon 69 School and Nanne Munke Playway School. 
On this occasion, senior runner Fauja Singh hoisted the flag and encouraged all participants. The Fatehgarh Sahib police and local administration ensured excellent traffic management for the safety of all runners, including cycling marshals.

Medical assistance along the route was provided by Levas, Jal, Sach Di Awaaz, Ghent Punjab, Fast and Up, Daudta Punjab, R Immigration Services, Global Sikh Riders, Born Runner Patiala, Koshish Udari Running Club, Fitness Club, Fit Club, Five Rivers, Flex Veda, Bage Boot House, and Levas. 
A dedicated team of staff was prepared throughout the event. Refreshments were offered to all runners by Verka, Bon Bread, and Punjab Agro Five Rivers. 
Participants were honored with certificates and trophies.

RESULTS:

42 km Men’s Marathon – Simon Maina from Kenya secured first place in 2 hours 16 minutes, Abhishek Soni took second place in 2 hours 26 minutes, and Ajay Kumar achieved third place in 2 hours 30 minutes.

42 km Women’s Marathon – Jyoti Shankarro Gawate secured first place in 3 hours 7 minutes, Ashvini Madan Jadhav took second place in 3 hours 7 minutes, and Bharti achieved third place in 3 hours 27 minutes.

21 km Men’s Marathon – Rohit took first place, Banee Singh achieved second, and Sahil Gill took third.

21 km Women’s Marathon – Jyoti secured first, Ekta took second, and Bhumi Negi achieved third.

10 km Men’s Marathon – Mohan took first, Mohit secured second, and Ajay and Shiva Kundu shared third place.

10 km Women’s Marathon – Ruby Kashyap took first place, Monika secured second, and Arpita Saini achieved third.
