Chandigarh, August 9, 2024: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema congratulated the Indian Hockey Team, Neeraj Chopra, and Manu Bhaker on their victories, as well as those who participated, saying that these athletes have made India proud on the global stage.
Harpal Singh Cheema noted that 10 players from the hockey team are from Punjab, and the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced a reward of Rs 1 crore for these players.
He also mentioned that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, is fully committed to ensuring that more and more people from Punjab participate in the Asian Games, World Cup, and Olympics.
