Ludhiana, September 16, 2024: Harpreet Singh, a 2019-batch IAS officer, took charge as Chief Administrator of Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (Glada) on Monday.
Singh was earlier posted as Amritsar Municipal Commissioner. He has also served as ADC (G) Amritsar, SDM Dera Baba Nanak and SDM Amritsar.
Singh stated that special focus will be laid on better and effective implementation of policies/schemes related to urban areas of Punjab Government.
The Chief Administrator, Glada mentioned that strict action will be taken against those behind mushrooming of illegal colonies in the district.
