Harvest Tennis Academy players trumps in Harvest Open Tennis Tournament
Jassowal, Ludhiana, April 9, 2023: The titles at The Harvest Open Tennis Tournament played on the thirteen courts at the sprawling campus of the Harvest Tennis Academy at Jassowal, Ludhiana went to Samarveer Mehta of Sirsa (Boy’s Singles Under 10), Mayank Gupta of Jalandhar (Boy’s Singles Under 12), Mohit Singh of Panchkula (Boy’s Singles Under 14), Paramveer Singh of Jassowal (Boy’s Singles Under 16), Salini Sangram of Jassowal (Girl’s Singles Under 10), Samayra of Panchkula (Girl’s Singles Under 12), Divneet Kaur of Jalandhar (Girl’s Singles Under 14), Sanjana Sangram of Jassowal (Girl’s Singles Under 16), Yuvraj Soni of Jassowal (Men’s Singles) and Gurnoor Kular & Paramveer Singh of Jassowal (Men’s Doubles).
The Men’s Singles finals between Yuvraj Soni and Sahajpreet Singh Bajwa was a treat to watch. The match lasted for 90 minutes. Both the players slugged it out with no quarters taken or given. At the end of the day it was Yuvraj Soni who took the match 6-4, 6-2. Also, in Girls under 10 Salini Sangram took by surprise Tanisha in second set when she overpowered her 1-6, eventually Salini kept her cool and won the final set 10-7.
