Gian Chand Gupta announces two additional bhandara vans from his side
Panchkula, July 3, 2022: Two new Mobile Bhandara Vans for free distribution of food were flagged off by
Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta in the presence of Trustees of Mata Mansa Devi Bhandara Committee Charitable Trust, and special guest, Kulbhushan Goyal, Mayor Panchkula at Mata Mansa Davi Bhandara Bhawan, Temple Complex here today.
After launching the Bhandara vans, Gian Chand Gupta, Speaker, Haryana Assembly said, “I am happy to be part of the launch of two more vans. The Bhandara was started in 1955 with 5 kg daal and 20 kg atta, which has been progressing continuously. These activities have been getting full support from the Haryana Government and the Panchkula Administration. I would like to start two additional Bhandara Vans from my side also.”
A trustee of Mata Mansa Devi Bhandara Committee Charitable Trust said, “Today we have an air-conditioned modern Bhandara Bhawan with a lift facility. The Bhandara serves free lunch and dinner for almost 7000 devotees every day. There are six mobile Bhandara vans providing food at different locations in the Tricity to almost 3500-5000 people every day. The Trust has also been running a regular Bhandara at PGI providing food to the patients and their attendants for the last 40 years.”
On the occasion of Navratri, twice a year we provide fasting food to the devotees, where almost 25,000 devotees have free food every day. The Trust also helps in providing free medical treatment to the poor and deserving cases at General Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula.
He further informed that the Trust is putting up a modern Dental Hospital with seven chairs in its newly acquired commercial building at SCO-90, Sector-5, Panchkula. This will be the most modern dental hospital with the latest equipment and machinery and the treatment is going to be cheaper than the market rates, while the treatment for poor and deserving patients will be absolutely free of cost.
The Trustees expressed their gratefulness to the Donation Sponsors of the Tricity because of which the Bhandara is successful. The Bhandara is approved under CSR activities and it also gives income tax exemption to the donors under 80G.
The Trustees, Sewadar, and the Bhandara staff pledged to continue their activities under the blessing of Shree Mata Mansa Devi.
