Haryana Governor launched Pictorial Art Work “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” at Raj Bhavan Haryana compiled by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu
Chandigarh, June 17, 2024: Pictorial art work depicting National Bird of India symbolizing “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” was today launched by Bandaru Dattatraya, Governor of Haryana at Raj Bhavan Haryana, Chandigarh. The significant portrait showcases Peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers, embodying the rich cultural heritage and biodiversity of India. Haryana Governor acknowledged the rare pictorial art work compiled by Harpreet Sandhu an eminent Author, Environmentalist, Nature Artist & former Additional Advocate General Punjab and described the portrait as an exceptional art work aimed towards glorifying the beauty of Peacock and emphasizing the need for human’s indispensable bond with nature.
Haryana Governor further said that peacock holds deep symbolic meaning and is considered a symbol of grace, beauty, and elegance it can be often seen in Indian art, mythology, and folklore, representing virtues like integrity and dignity.
