Bollywood Fashion Street a unique Two Day Summer & Fashion Lifestyle Exhibition has started at Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana. The exhibition is a treasure trove of fashion couture based on latest trends of Bollywood.

Ludhiana, May 2, 2015: Bollywood Fashion Street a unique Two Day Summer & Fashion Lifestyle Exhibition based on latest trends of Bollywood was inaugurated Mrs. Pappo Abnash Singh, Member Punjab State Legal Services Authority & Ex Chairperson of Luxmi Ladies Club at Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana. The exhibition is themed on Bollywood trends as women of all age groups want to dress up like their favourite Heroines who appear in not just Bollywood films but also in popular TV soaps.

Keeping in view the trending fashion in Bollywood as well as Television Industry, A Million Dollar Affair, a company owned by a dynamic entrepreneur couple Neha and Amit Singla has launched this first of a kind concept where in as many as 51 designers are participating with their latest, striking collections from not just Punjab, but other parts of India. Said Mrs Neha Singla, Director, A Million Dollar Affair, “The exhibition showcases categories like Bollywood Replicas, Ethnic Apparel, Western wear, Fashion Accessories, Home Decor, Hand Bags, Footwear, Jewellery, a Bollywood photographer & much more. We have also created a Bollywood theme décor in the Exhibition with the use of a Bollywood Fashion Photography Corner, Bollywood props etc. The exhibition will be on till 3rd May 2015.”

The Exhibition got a very good response from Ludhiana’s Glitterati on its opening day, well heeled Divas who have a penchant for the latest in style, flocked the stalls which had on display latest collections inspired by Bollywood and TV Industry fashion. The main attraction at the exhibition was Designer Neha Mahajan who presented her label The Bling Queen. Neha is a famous designer & also a stylist for Actress Richa Chadha, of ‘Fukrey’ & ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ fame. Says Neha, “I have a close links with Bollywood and TV Industry as my husband is actor Adhvik Mahajan who has played roles in Serials, Bollywood & Tamil films. All of my collection is inspired by Bollywood & TV Indutsry. I have brought gowns, dresses, skirts with crop tops, designer Swarovski neckpieces, handcuffs, bare-footers, anklets bracelets etc.”     

Deepika who owns the brand Deepika Deep Clicks, is present and she has done photo-shoots for Bollywood bigwigs like Shahrukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan etc. BVR Luxuries who’s designers Aradhna & Meenakshi Anand have presented a range of bollywood style earrings, neckpieces, antique silver jewellery, semi precious stones on silver, funky jewellery et al.Says Aradhna, “We do a lot of customization for Heros and Heroines of TV Serials as well as Actors and Actresses of the film world. We have been supplying designer jewellery to serials like Balika Vadhu on Colors.”

Another interesting display is of Mystic Array by Ashima & Manpreet. The collection is of Evening Gowns, Jump Suits, Dresses, all Western Wear inspired majorly by Bollywood trends. Say Ashima & Manpreet, “Our USP is floral dresses mainly long floral skirts, its summer wear made creatively using Bollywood concepts and rich fabric.”

The Exhibition is being supported by aamantraonline.com, India’s First Ethnic Portal. Some more names that are adding zing to Bollywood Fashion Street on at Ludhiana are labels & ace designers like Swati from Postcard, Ananta Studio, Kalista, Dazzling Bling, Nazzakat Adna by Ruchika, Ankur Ashima, Dazzling Bling, Ruzhan Pakistani Concepts, Simran from ‘The You’, Mrignaini Creation, Black Rose Frills by Puneet Khurana & Anju Bebi et al. There is ethnic wear by Lucknow Designer Chikan and many others, but all with an underlying focus on what is being seen in Bollywood films and top TV Soaps.
