Q1. You have been selective about work. So, what made you choose this show?
Honestly, I enjoy challenges. And the first and foremost aspect about my profession is that I like making people laugh and take on projects that leave a long lasting impression. Also, I am very particular about the characters I take up as I don't like to stay in my comfort zone and enjoy doing things differently. This is also one of the reasons why I chose to be a part of ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge’ where I get to be a part of a variety of sketches and work alongside colleagues and friends of the industry. While Kushal Badrike is my dear friend and a part of various acts in the show, I am also enjoying working with the other teammates and explore newer aspects of my craft and skill as an actor.
Q2. What has been your inspiration for acting and which part of the comedy, challenges you the most?
I simply love to celebrate life and that is something that always resonates with me. I've always wanted to explore many aspects of life, and acting has allowed me to accomplish just that. It's wonderful how I can play so many parts in one lifetime! So in a way, I enjoy these very challenges as it keeps me motivated to explore and learn.
Q3. Who has impressed you so far in the team of ‘Madness Machayenge?’
I think everyone in the team of ‘Madness Machayenge’ are exceptional artists! Their high energy, good reading ability, and regardful performance gives them stand-alone acceptance in the comedy world. Even, though I've known Gaurav Dubey for so many years, he is indeed a good friend. I've also been a long-time fan of Paritosh Tripathi ji, he is a great poet and comedian, a rare talent with all entertainment factors in one bucket. Similarily, there is something unique about every artist who is a part of this show and I respect them all.
Q4 What is all the buzz around ‘Madness Machayenge - India Ko Hasayenge?’
The show is a complete package. If people are in the mood for stand-up, they'll find it here. If they're craving around some roasting, they won't be disappointed either. It's a mix of everything you could ask for. This show is an extreme blend of comedy flavours. And you know what? If we're having a blast doing it, I'm pretty sure the viewers will have a blast watching it too.
