Here’s why Shivani Badoni aka Funty cried on the set of Sony SAB’s Baavle Utaavle

The dream of making it big in the film and television industry is seen by many but fulfilled by some. One such example of someone making it to the industry is that of Shivani Badoni, who is currently essaying the role of Funty in Sony SAB’s Baavle Utaavle. Shivani who always dreamed of making it in the entertainment industry, was recently overwhelmed when she watched the first promo of her show Baavle Utaavle. Extremely emotional at this joyous moment, she broke down into tears. Surprisingly, the cast members have now taken this up and don’t leave any stone unturned to make fun of Shivani and laugh about it. Talking about this incident, Shivani said, “I always had a dream of playing a lead role and this came true with playing Funty for Sony SAB’s Baavle Utaavle. Working with a producer like Rajan Shahi, actor like Paras Arora and for a channel like Sony SAB is just too overwhelming and something I am extremely thankful for. Thus, this show being my television debut, it made me emotional and I had an outburst during the launch of the first promo and the music video of Baavle Utaavle. This episode has now become a joke on the sets and among the entire cast and crew. Hence, whenever there is a new milestone for the show, everyone stands ready with tissues, making fun of me and waiting for me to cry.” Portraying a sweet and simple girl from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Funty is in search of a perfect groom for herself, who she finds under someone else’s Suhaagraat bed.
