Hero Cycles Inaugurates New Adventure Area at Ludhiana’s Popular Recreational Park

Ludhiana, May 30, 2019: Global bicycle major Hero Cycles today opened a new attraction for the city’s youth at Rakh Bagh, with a dedicated adventure zone comprising Bumper cars and Rope Course activities being inaugurated at the popular recreational park. Shri Balkar Singh Sandhu, Mayor of Ludhiana, Chief Guest, and Mrs.Kanwalpreet Brar, IAS, Corporation Commissioner of Ludhiana over the function together inaugurated the new adventure zone. Spread across 13 acres, Rakh Bagh is a highly popular recreation and fitness destination for Ludhiana residents complete with a dedicated cycling track and a toy train. The new adventure sport facility that offers fun filled team activities will act as an added attraction to the city’s youth. “Over last few years since it was redeveloped and restored, Rakh Bagh has become a major attraction for the residents of Ludhiana. Its sprawling lawns, lush green environment and cycling track makes it a popular destination for families looking for recreational activities as well as children and fitness enthusiasts. With the opening of the new adventure zone, we are adding a new dimension to the park to make it fun spot for the youth– the college goers, the school kids and young professionals of the city. By building additional activity zones at the Rakh Bagh, we want to encourage Ludhiana residents to take up outdoor activities and active lifestyles,” said Mrs. Kanwalpreet Brar. The adventure zone offers the thrill of indoor Bumper cars as well as the challenging outdoor Rope course activity. The latter also offers an effective team building exercise for sports and corporate teams looking for strong bonding experiences. The Mayor praised how Rakh Bagh was redeveloped and restored by Hero Cycles. He was very happy about the company’s dedicated policy of contributing to social and philanthropic activities in the city.
