Hero DMC Heart Institute to conduct “ Free Heart check up awareness camp” for women on Independence Day
Ludhiana, August 13, 2018: Traditionally, women consider themselves to be protected from heart diseases, especially in pre-menopausal age group but recent data suggests like men, women too are at risk of suffering from heart diseases. Hence, it is high time that women wake up to the call and become not only aware of their predisposition to heart diseases, but also take the necessary steps to eradicate it. With this view, Hero DMC Heart Institute (HDHI) in association with WINCARS (Women in Cardiology & Related Sciences) - a national body, will be conducting a series of free Heart Check up Camps for Women in the city. The first camp of the series will be held on forthcoming 15th August (Wednesday)- Independence day in Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.
