Jalandhar, August 17: Heroin worth Rs 2.5 cror in the international market was seized from two arrested youths near Patel chowk here.
In charge of Jalandhar CIA Staff Keval Krishan said at a press conference here this evening, on a tip-off, motorcycle bound two youth Gurdit Singh alias Happy and Sonu were apprehended last night. On search, 250 grams of heroin was recovered from the youths.
The arrested persons were residents of Amritsar district, the police officer said, adding the accused had been booked under NDPS Act.
