High level French delegation visits CICU to do business with Punjab Industry

Ludhiana, September 12, 2019: A High Level French delegation visited CICU to discuss about Invest in Punjab.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU welcomed all the delegates and gave a brief presentation of working of CICU. This will be a great opportunities to fulfil the demands of the Punjab Industry, if France will invest in Punjab. He also said that Ludhiana is known as “Manchester of India”.
Ahuja further said that Punjab is best place to do business because of various resins like good infrastructure, availability of Components, Availability of manpower both grey collared and white collared and many more.
The delegation of French consisting 6 members Ludovic KNAB, Technico Commercial Export & Export Sales Engineer, Monosem, Olivier CROIX, President, Monroc, Valeria LESCAUT, International Department Manager, AXEMA and Thierry MOREAU, International Business Manager, BERHOUD. They expressed keen interest in Invest in Punjab.
Zinnia Sachdeva, Consultant, Punjab Bureau of Invest Promotion, Invest Punjab shared about Punjab Industry and geographical status of Punjab State. She also talked about various schemes and policies of Govt., which will help them for invest.
J.S Bhogal, Publicity Secretary, CICU said that Ludhiana has appox. 14000 MSMEs and various products are manufacturing in Ludhiana. They assured the French delegation that Ludhiana Industry will fulfilled their demands.
The meeting was attended by more than 10 key industrialists by some namely. Honey Sethi, organizing Secretary, CICU, Pritam Singh, Amitsant Inds, Simarnjit Singh, Akhtiar Agro Inds, Sanjay Dhiman, DAV Engg.
