'Highland Kings' pips 'Victory Waves' to lift the Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League 2025 trophy
In a thrilling finale, 'Highland Kings' lifted the trophy of the Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League 2025, defeating 'Victory Waves' with a narrow 3-2 win at the pristine Panchkula Golf Club on Thursday morning. The championship match was a nerve-wracking affair, with both teams displaying exceptional grit and golf skills. 'Highland Kings' clinched the title by winning three out of five tightly contested matches.

Panchkula, April 24, 2025: In a thrilling finale, 'Highland Kings' lifted the trophy of the Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League 2025, defeating 'Victory Waves' with a narrow 3-2 win at the pristine Panchkula Golf Club on Thursday morning. The championship match was a nerve-wracking affair, with both teams displaying exceptional grit and golf skills. 'Highland Kings' clinched the title by winning three out of five tightly contested matches.
It came down to the final 18th Green and when faced with a putt to win the league, Col Rohit Bakshi held his nerve and holed a 21 foot putt for par to win his game and the Title match. It was a befitting end to a fair and very sportingly contested Final.
Meanwhile, 'Golfing Panthers' secured third place by defeating 'Sneakin Golfers'. They won 3 games, tied one and lost one and thus Sneakin Golfers' had to settle for the fourth position in the league.
Notably, a total of 16 teams and 224 players participated in the Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League 2025. Out of these eight teams advanced to the knockout stage of the league . The quarter finals saw competitive matches in which 'Sneakin Golfers' , ‘Victory Waves’ , 'Golfing Panthers’ and ‘Highland Kings’ prevailed on their opponents to enter the semis. In the semi-finals 'Highland Kings' and 'Victory Waves' emerged as the top two teams, as a result the final was played between these two. 'Golfing Panthers' and 'Sneakin Golfers' played for the 3rd and 4th spot.
The inaugural Aeroplaza Panchkula Golf League was managed by Digraj Golf Inc., and it is planned that it will now be an annual fixture at the Panchkula Golf Club.
