Himachal –Goa Ranji match starts at 3 Dharamsala

Dharamsala, October 27, 2013: At last the scheduled Himachal –Goa Ranji match started at 3 pm in HPCA stadium in Dharamsala.
Earlier the match was delayed due to last night’s government operation to take over the association’s property due to the alleged misuse of leased land by HPCA. “Now the match is on and conducted by HPCA, but under strict control of Himachal Police, which controls the people’s moments for getting in or out of the stadium,” said Sanjay Sharma, PRO, HPCA in a press meet at Dharamsala on Sunday evening.
Sanjay said that Vir Bhadra Singh led Congress government in Himachal had one agenda since its formation and it is to fight against HPCA and Anurag Thakur. He said, “We are organising the match so that game does not harm. But defiantly go to court shortly to seek justice.” He said that in last regime of Vir Bhadra Singh too they had to fought up to Supreme Court and won.
Sanjay said that in 2005 too, Vikas Thakur, son of ex-minister tried to enter forcefully in Dharamsala stadium to take over the control but failed. Today too that man is creating the same scene in Luhnoo cricket stadium in Bilaspur. He said the entire cricket team under the leadership of Anurag shall keep on doing the work to develop the game in state to make entry of state boy in Indian team. www.cityairnews.com
