Dharamsala, March 3, 2013: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, on his first day of Winter Sojourn of Kangra district, listened public grievances in the Mini Secretariat Dharamsala  on Sunday.

People in large number from various parts of the district were gathered in the local Circuit House and the Mini Secretariat to meet the Chief Minister since morning.

 A delegation of Home-Science students from CSKHPKV, Palampur met the Chief Minister and apprised him of their demands for creating more jobs for them in government and private sectors in the state.

A delegation of Punjabi Teachers’ Association (H.P.) from Una district discussed the problems of Punjabi teachers and requested him to ensure full honorarium to them as they were not getting full honorarium presently being given on the period basis.

Delegations of Urdu Teachers, Home Guards, B.D.C. Chairman Members Body, IT Outsourcing Employees Union and other organisations also met the Chief Minister.

 The Chief Minister assured all the delegations that their genuine demands would be dealt sympathetically.

Earlier, he was received in the Police Ground by the local leaders and the District Administration. Urban Development and Town and Country Planning Minister and local MLA Sudhir Sharma and Kewal Singh Pathania, vice-chairman, HRTC, who were accompanying the Chief Minister from Shimla, also joined the people in the rousing reception given to him on the occasion. 

MLAs Sanjay Rattan, Yadwinder Goma and Pawan Kajal including various local leaders and DC C. Palrasu, SP Balbir Thakur and various senior officers were also present on the occasion.
