Himachal Pradesh Class 10 Results Announced: Girls Lead as State Achieves 74.61% Pass Rate

In a commendable achievement, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPSEB) in Dharamshala has announced the results of the Class 10 examinations today, following a swift evaluation process. The overall pass percentage for the state stood at 74.61%, with girls notably outperforming boys, mirroring the trends seen in the Class 12 results.

Dharamshala, May 7, 2024: In a commendable achievement, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPSEB) in Dharamshala has announced the results of the Class 10 examinations today, following a swift evaluation process. The overall pass percentage for the state stood at 74.61%, with girls notably outperforming boys, mirroring the trends seen in the Class 12 results.

Of the top 92 performers, 72 are girls. This highlights a continuing trend of female students excelling in academic achievements across Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, the representation of government schools among the top ranks is noteworthy, with 22 students making it to the top 92, compared to 70 from private schools.

The state's top scorer is Riddhima Sharma from a government school in Nadoun, Hamirpur district, who achieved an impressive 99.86%. Following her closely is Krutika Sharma from Newgal School in Bhawarna, Kangra, with 99.71%. The third position was shared by three students: Shivam Sharma, Adviti Tekta, and Rushil Sood.

A total of 91,130 students appeared  in this year’s examination, which was conducted from March 2 to March 21 across 2,258 centers throughout the state. Despite the challenges, the board managed to declare the results 15 days ahead of schedule.

HPSEB Chairman Hem Raj Bairwa noted that this year's timely declaration of results reflects the board's commitment to efficiency. Further assisting students, the board announced that certificates will be accessible via DigiLocker within 12 hours post-declaration, and detailed results can be viewed on the board’s official website.
