Dharamsala, December 21, 2023: In a display of commitment to infrastructure development in Himachal Pradesh, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh undertook a series of site visits and inaugurations in Kangra district on Thursday. His itinerary focused on key projects aimed at improving transportation, education, and overall connectivity in the region.

Minister Singh inspected the ongoing construction work at the Government College, Mataur. He highlighted the allocation of Rs 11.10 crore for the project and emphasized the importance of completing the remaining work within deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Singh presided over the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the expansion and improvement of the Kachiyari to Simbal Khola road. The project, funded by NABARD to the tune of Rs 4.50 crore, aims to enhance transportation facilities for residents.The Minister reiterated the government's priority of connecting villages through better road infrastructure. The Minister also inspected the construction of a 104-meter span bridge over Baner Khad in Haar Jaladi.

Singh advocated for unity and collaboration, transcending party lines, to prioritize public welfare and ensure development reaches everyone in the state.

MLA Kangra Pawan Kajal, former MLA Surendra Kaku, Block Congress President Kangra Nageshwar Mankotiya, and officials from the Public Works Department and other relevant departments accompanied the Minister during the visits.
