Dharamsala, September 11, 2013: Paras Dogra of Himachal will play against touring West Indies in the 1st 4 days match later this month.
Dogra was named in the squad by the BCCI senior selection panel which met on Tuesday in Vishakhapattanam.
Paras will play against West Indies A from September 25 – 28, at Mysore. Cheteshwar Pujara shall be the Captain of the team. The other members announced are Jiwanjot Singh, K L Rahul, Manpreet Juneja, Rajat Paliwal, Harshad Khadiwale, Parvez Rasool, Bhargav Bhatt, Ishwar Chand Pandey, Mohammed Shami, Ashoke Dinda, Rohit Motwani (WK) and Dhawal Kulkarni.
Anuraag Thakur president of HPCA said, “It is the matter of pride for the state. This opening shall give ample space for our player to get place in main Team India.”
