Ludhiana, September 14, 2024: To honour the official language of India, Hindi Sahitya Sabha of Ramgarhia Girls College observed 'Hindi Diwas' by organising various competitions.

 Prof. Mandeep Kaur, Department of Hindi, extended a floral welcome to Officiating Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur, who was the chief guest of the day. As a part of the celebration, various competitions, such as Slogan Writing, Beautiful Handwriting, Poem Recitation, and Declamation Contest, were organised wherein all the students showcased their creativity and articulated their thoughts on the theme 'Abhivyakti ka Sashakt Madhyam: Hindi'. 

Dr. Rimpi Mehani from the Department of Chemistry, and Prof. Neerul Deogan from the Department of Physics enthralled the audience with the captivating poetry that left everyone spellbound. 
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Mandeep Kaur provided various insights on the historical background of the Hindi language’s popularity. 

Dr. Ajit Kaur emphasized the paramount importance of the Hindi language and expounded upon its enduring significance in daily life. She also congratulated the winners of the competitions and distributed prizes to them. 

Ranjodh Singh, President, and Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, also extended their best wishes to the students.
